  • 1 (3-4 pound) cabbage - leaves separated and hard spines sliced off
  • 2 lbs. hamburger
  • 2 med. onions, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 large eggs
  • Handful of matzah meal (or possibly bread crumbs)
  • 12 ounce can tomato paste
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2-3 T honey
  • 2 T light Karo syrup
  • 3 T brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Mix All Of Above Together. Put Sauce In Heavy Dutch Oven, Fill Cabbage Leaves With Meat Filling And Roll Up Tucking In The Ends. Lay Cabbage Rolls On Sauce And Cook Over Low Heat…
