Asian Style Braised Ham Steak Recipe


  • 1 lb Ham steak - (1" thick)
  • 1/4 c. Light soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. Dry sherry wine
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter or possibly vegetable oil - (to 2 tbspns)
  • 1 tsp Chopped fresh ginger
  • 1/4 c. Water
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 c. Finely-sliced green onions


Remove Rind And Trim Off All But 1/4-inch Of Outer Fat. Score The Fat Edge At 1-inch Intervals So The Steak Does Not Curl During Cooking And Divide Ham Steak Into 2 Serving Pcs.…
