  • 5 1/2 c. Self rising flour
  • 1/3 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 c. Shortening
  • 2 pkt Yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. hot water
  • 2 c. Buttermilk, heated to 110 degrees
  •     Melted butter
