Avocado Shrimp Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients

  •     Makes: 4 to 6 servings
  • 1 can (11 1/2 ounce.) tomato and chili cocktail (bloody Mary) mix
  • 1/3 c. tequila
  • 3 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1/3 c. finely minced onion, rinsed and liquid removed
  • 1/3 c. minced fresh cilantro
  • 2 x to 3 tsp. chopped fresh jalapeno chili
  • 2 x hard-ripe avocados (1 to 1 1/4 pound
  • 3/4 lb shelled cooked shrimp (50 to 70 per lb.), rinsed
  •     Kosher or possibly regular salt
  •     Lime wedges
  •     Tortilla chips or possibly saltine crackers
