  • 6 x Chinese red dates
  • 10 x Dry black mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. Bacon
  • 1/2 c. Bamboo shoots
  • 1/4 c. Water chestnuts
  • 2 slc Fresh ginger root
  • 1 x Scallion stalk
  • 1 x Clove garlic
  • 1 x (2-3 lb.) fish
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 c. Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Sherry
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 3 dsh Sesame oil, more or possibly less
  • 1 head lettuce
  •     Parsley
