Pat's Shrimp Creole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp. Butter
  • 2 c. Coarsely minced onion
  • 2 c. Coarsely minced celery
  • 2 c. Coarsely minced Green or possibly
  •     Red bell pepper
  • 1 c. Tomato puree
  • 6 x Fresh tomato, peeled
  • 3 x Bay leaves
  • 1/4 tsp Oregano
  •     Healthy pinch of thyme
  •     Creole Seafood Seasoning
  • 2 c. Seafood stock
  • 1/4 c. Butter
  • 2 c. Coarsely minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. Brown sugar
  • 2 c. Coarsely minced celery
  • 2 c. Coarsely minced Green or possibly
  •     Red bell pepper
  • 60 lrg fresh shrimp, peeled
  •     And deveined
  •     Streamed rice or possibly jambalaya
