- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 1/2 c. applesauce
- 2 large eggs
- 1 c. raisins (opt.)
- 1/2 c. finely minced nuts (opt.)
Description
Mix Together. Bake At 350 Degrees For 50 To 55 Min In A Tube Pan; 35 To 40 Min For A Loaf Pan. This Is A Favorite Moist Cake And Is Wonderful Without Icing.
