Ingredients

  • 1 tsp lemongrass and ginger oil
  •     or possibly canola oil with chopped ginger (lemon optional)
  • 1/4 c. minced onion yellow or possibly red
  • 1/4 c. sliced carrot
  • 1/4 c. sliced celery
  • 1/4 c. minced button mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh cilantro
  • 1/3 c. shredded napa cabbage
  • 1/3 c. fresh spinach leaves roughly minced
  • 1/3 c. sliced broccolini (diagonal slices)
  • 3 c. water
  • 1/4 tsp vegetarian bouillon (pwdr) see variations
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil or possibly to taste
  • 1 x garlic cloves chopped
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 lb extra hard tofu (low fat) 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 ounce red bell pepper
  • 1 pch cayenne pepper (optional)
