Artichokes Roman Style (carciofi Alla Romana) Recipe


  • 12 sm or possibly 6 large globe artichokes
  •     lemon juice
  • 250 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp. finely minced flat leaf parsley
  • 3 Tbsp. finely minced fresh mint
  • 3 clv garlic peeled and crushed with sea salt
  • 6 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  •     coarsely grnd black pepper
  • 1 1/2 x lemons quartered
