Ingredients

  • 8 x Thick asparagus spears
  • 8 slc Ham, (not too thin)
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk, (1/2 to 1)
  • 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, grated (1/2 to 1)
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 Tbsp. Onion or possibly 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 x Egg yolk
  • 1/2 c. Cream
  •     Salt and pepper and nutmeg
