  • 2 1/2 lb Hard, tart apples, such as northern spy, granny smith or possibly golden brown delicious
  • 2/3 c. Sugar, light brown sugar or possibly a combination of both
  • 1 1/2 c. Cranberries, rinsed and liquid removed
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Finely grated lemon zest
