  • 1 1/2 c. Dry Currants (1/4 lb.)
  • 1/2 c. Dry Dates, snipped
  • 1/2 c. Pecans, minced
  • 1 1/4 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. Apricot Brandy -or possibly- Unsweetened Apple Juice
  • 1 pkt (or possibly 1 Tbsp.) Active Dry Yeast
  • 1/4 c. Hot Water (110 to 115 degrees)
  • 1/2 c. Vegetable Oil
  • 1/4 c. Honey
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd Cloves
  • 1 c. Unbleached Pastry Flour
  • 2 x To 2-1/4 c Whole Wheat Flour
