- 1 x Onion, medium, peeled and quartered
- 1 c. Long grain rice
- 2 tsp Garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp Grnd sage
- 1 tsp Dry thyme
- 2 tsp Red pepper flakes
- 2 tsp Cayenne
- 1/8 tsp Allspice
- 1 pch Grnd mace
- 1/2 c. Finely minced green onions or possibly scallions
- 1/2 c. Fresh parsley, finely minced, (flat-leaf variety preferred)
- 2Â 1/2 tsp Salt, kosher preferred
