Apricot-nut Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 ounce dry apricots
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 T butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 1/4 c. water (from soaking apricots)
  • 1/2 c. minced walnuts or possibly pecans
