Alsatian Apple Tart Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. pastry flour
  • 1 c. icing sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c. + 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into pcs and chilled
  • 3 x egg yolk
  •     Filling
  • 1/3 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 dsh nutmeg
  • 8 x Granny Smith apples
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Calvados or possibly brandy
  • 3 Tbsp. apricot or possibly apple jelly
