Alsatian Gratin Of Roots (lacto) Recipe


  • 3 lrg Onions finely minced
  • 4 lrg Carrots (1 lb) minced
  • 3 c. Broth chicken, beef, or possibly
  •     Vegetable
  • 3 lb Potatoes (about 6large)
  • 1 lb (2 medium) rutabagas
  • 1/2 c. Chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 x Nutmeg to taste
  • 3/4 c. Jarlsberg cheese (I used ff Cheese instead)


In A 5-6 Qt Pan (I Used A Small Roaster) Cook Onions And Carrots In 1/2 C. Of Broth Till Softened. Add In To This The Parsley. Peel And Thinly Slice The Potatoes And Rutabagas.…
