  • 7 lb Yams, boil tender, cold, peel
  • 1/2 c. Butter, divided use
  • 1 pch Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/3 c. Honey
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/3 tsp Cinnamon
  • 3 x Pippin or possibly Granny Smith, apples - peel, core,
  • Thin
  • 1/4 c. Butter, cut squares


Mash Yams With 1/4 C Butter,salt And Pepper. Heat 1/4 C. Butter With Nutmeg And Honey. Pour Into Bottom Of Casserole And Layer With Apples. Add In Mashed Yams And Top With Cinnamon…
