Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 quart Water
  • 2 lb Pork bones
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Fish sauce (nuoc mam)
  • 1 tsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 x Clove garlic, minced
  • 2 x Shallots or possibly scallions, minced white part
  • 1/2 lb Crab meat, fresh, frzn, or possibly canned
  • 1/4 tsp Freshly grnd black pepper
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch dissolved in:
  • 2 Tbsp. Water
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1 can (15-ounce) white asparagus, undrained
  • 1/4 c. Minced fresh coriander (Chinese parsley)
  • 1/4 c. Minced scallion greens
