- 1 egg white, slightly beaten
- Filling:
- 3 cups rhubarb cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 and 1/2 cups white sugar
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons half and half
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Crumb Topping:
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 6 tablespoons cold butter, cut into 1/2 cubes
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
