Pasta With Scallops, Mushrooms Andbroccoli Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound bay or possibly sea scallops
  • 9 ounce fresh fettucini (white or possibly green) or possibly 12 ounce dry fettucini
  • 2 c. broccoli florets
  • 1 T extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed through a press
  • 1/2 c. diced yellow or possibly red bell pepper
  • 4 ounce mushrooms, sliced (about 1 1/2 c.)
  • 1/4 c. dry white wine
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth/stock or possibly bottled clam juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon EACH white pepper, nutmeg & salt
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
