Ingredients
- 2Â 1/2 c. Flour
- 2 c. Sugar
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1Â 1/3 c. Buttermilk or possibly sour lowfat milk, (I used GIL - Israeli variety of sour lowfat milk - 11/2 container)
- 1/2 c. Shortening, margarine or possibly, (heaven forbid but which's what I used) butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 4 x Egg whites
