Apple Fritters Recipe


  • 3 x Tart green dessert apples, peeled, cored and
  •     (3 to 4) sliced thickly into rings
  • 4 Tbsp. Marsala or possibly vermouth
  • 3 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 125 gm Plain flour, (4oz)
  • 25 gm Caster sugar, (1oz)
  •     A healthy pinch of salt
  •     Oil for deep-frying
  •     Caster sugar for dusting
