Ingredients

  • 250 gm Blackberries
  • 30 gm Soft light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Arrowroot
  • 5 Tbsp. Red wine Or possibly
  • 3 Tbsp. Port or possibly other fortified wine
  • 1 x Cinnamon stick 5 - 8 cm long
  • 2 x Cloves
