- Eggplant, grnd up
- Figs, finely minced
- Grapes, seedless
- Honey, omit sugar
- Lemons, 1/2 c. juice
- Marmalade, omit 1 c. sugar
- Mincemeat
- Oranges, minced
- Peaches, minced & liquid removed
- Pears, minced
- Peppermint, 1/2 c.
- Pineapple, crushed & liquid removed
- Plums
- Prunes, 1 c. minced
- Pumpkin, canned
- Raspberries
- Rhubarb, finely minced
- Strawberries, liquid removed
- Sweet potatoes, coarsely grated
- Tapioca, cooked
- Tomatoes, use 1/2 c. sugar only
- Yams, cooked & mashed
- Yogurt, plain or possibly flavored
- Zucchini, grated & liquid removed
