Anderson's Split Pea Soup Recipe


  • 8 c. water
  • 2 c. green split peas
  • 1 x celery rib coarsely minced
  • 1 lrg carrot minced
  • 1 sm onion minced
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1 dsh red pepper
  • 1 x bay leaf
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
