Ash E Jow (barley Soup) Iran Recipe


  • 1 c. Barley
  • 1/2 c. Dry Lentils Green Or possibly Red
  • 6 c. water
  • 2 med onions diced
  • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil or possibly sunflower
  • 1 Tbsp. Dry Mint Flakes or possibly parsley
  • 1/2 tsp Saffron *Note
  • 1/2 tsp grnd black pepper
