Apple Brown Betty Recipe


  • 175 gm (6 ounce) fresh breadcrumbs, mixed brown and white
  • 75 gm (3 ounce) butter, melted
  • 4 lrg cooking apples, about 675g (1 1/2 lb)
  • 110 gm (4 ounce) brown sugar
  • 1 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 1/2 x lemon, zest and juice
  •     Cream to serve
