Artichoke Pate Recipe


  • 1 x 15-ounce (425 g) can artichoke hearts or possibly bottoms, liquid removed
  • 4 ounce (110 g) cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1/4 c. (60 ml) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 x -2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  •     Salt and freshly grnd pepper to taste
  •     Cayenne pepper to taste (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) minced fresh parsley
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) minced fresh chives
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) minced black olives
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) diced pimiento or possibly fresh red bell pepper
