Alabama Biscuits Recipe


  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cake yeast or possibly 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. dry lowfat milk


Dissolve Yeast In Water. Add In Other Ingredients. Knead A Little. Roll About 1/4" Thick. Cut As Biscuits. Brush Both Sides With Butter. Fold. Let Rise On Baking Pan For 1 Hour.…
