and sliced 1/2" thick
2 tablespoons sugar
cup Calvados plus
2 tablespoons Calvados
1 cup flour sifted
teaspoon salt
ounce yeast
cup flat beer
cup apple juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
egg white stiffly beaten
Oil for deep frying
Confectioners' sugar for dredging
1 pound canned apricot halves
cup butter
teaspoon cinnamon
cup Slivovitz
Grated rind of 1/2 orange
cup cream
1 egg yolk
