Ingredients
- 2 large onions finely chopped
- 1 large green pepper finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic
- cup olive oil
- salt, pepper and oregano to taste
- In a large pot, saut the above listed ingredients until tender. Add:
- 1 whole Chicken cut up (or you can substitute shrimp if desired)
- 3 cups of rice (mom likes Uncle Bens for this recipe
- 4 cups water
- 1 small can of tomato sauce
- salt and olive oil to taste
