  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced shallot
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon thinly sliced chives
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chervil
  • 3 Persian or regular cucumbers
  • 1 to 2 wedges of lemon
  • Freshly ground black pepper
