Alan Jackson's Country Fried Steak with Onion Gravy


  • Servings: 3 to 4
  • 1 lb. cubed steak
  • 1/2 tsp. meat tenderizer
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tb. and 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 c. water


COOKS NOTES:Serve Hot With Biscuits, Mashed Potatoes And Salad. I Also Added Some Black Pepper. And, I Think That Itcould Be Revised To Use A Little Less Oil. This Was Very Tasty.
