Gingered Veal In a Lemon Sauce

Ingredients

  • Cooking Time: 50
  • 1 cup whole wheat couscous or *Quinoa
  • 1 tsp black pepper and sea salt
  • 1/2 cup of chopped parsley or cilantro.
  • 1/2 cup soft whole wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp toasted wheat germ
  • 1 tbsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground mace
  • 1 tsp sea salt and ground fresh pepper
  • 1/2 pound of Veal, more or less
  • canola oil
  • 1 cup low sodium chicken broth
  • the juice of one organic lemon(lemon zest for later)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp fresh or jarred grated ginger
  • 2 cloves of finely minced garlic
  • lemon zest
  • a sprig of parsley

Note: If You Dont Want To Use Couscous Then Try *Quinoa, Its A Grain Of Sorts. A Great Source Of Protien,calcium,iron And Potassium.
