Makes 12 cones

  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted, plus more for iron
