- 1 lemon, halved
- 1 lb. small artichokes
- 3 Tbs. all-purpose flour
- 2 skinless chicken breast halves, each about
1/2 lb. - 2 skinless chicken thighs, each about 6 oz.
- 2 skinless chicken drumsticks, each about
1/4 lb. - 2 Tbs. pure olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground white or black pepper, to
taste - 4 garlic cloves, cut into slivers
- 1 shallot, cut into slivers
- 1 Tbs. minced fresh basil
- 1 Tbs. minced fresh tarragon
- 1 Tbs. minced fresh chervil
- 1 Tbs. Dijon mustard
- 1 cup Sauvignon Blanc or other dry white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 or 3 plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
Description
Fresh Artichokes Taste Best In This Dish. If They Are Unavailable, Use About 1 1/2 Cups Thawed, Frozen Hearts Or Drained, Marinated Hearts And Add Them With The Tomatoes.
