Chimichurri steak with mango salsa salad

Ingredients

For the steak

  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • pinches sea salt
  • pinches cayenne pepper
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 handfuls parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 sirloin steaks
For the salsa salad

  • red onion, chopped
  • 1 mango, peeled, stone removed, flesh chopped into chunks
  • 1 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • red pepper
  • 2 baby gem lettuce, leaves separated and washed
  • cucumber, seeds removed
  • red chilli, seeds removed
  • 1 large avocado
  • 1 small lime, juice only
  • olive oil
