Tikka lamb chop pops

Ingredients

For the spice mix

  • 3 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp cloves
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 2 pinches ground cardamom
  • 1 pinches saffron
For the lamb

  • 1 raw beetroot, peeled
  • 100 g coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp spice mix, (see above)
  • 1 grapefruit, juice only
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses
  • 50 ml oil
  • tsp salt
  • 6 French-trimmed lamb cutlets
  • yogurt, to serve
