Spiced apple, sesame and honey cigars with mulled punch

Ingredients

For the mulled punch

  • 750 ml red wine, Shiraz
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 star anise
  • 2 slices ginger
  • 2 oranges, juice only
  • 2 lemons, juice only
  • 2 limes, juice only
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • 1 tbsp cranberries
  • 750 ml cider or apple juice
For the apple cigars

  • 3 russet apples
  • 200 g sweet mincemeat
  • 1/2 tsp mild chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp chinese five spice
  • 1 x 200 g packet filo pastry
  • 100 g butter, melted
To serve

  • 100 ml clear honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 200 g Greek yogurt
