Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tbsp black mustard seeds
  • 1 kg apples, peeled, cored and quartered
  • 2 clove garlic, peeled
  • 125 g fresh horseradish
  • 1 tbsp smoked sweet paprika
  • 1 tbsp hot smoked paprika
  • 125 g dark brown sugar, preferably muscovado
  • 275 ml red wine vinegar
  • 1 heaped tsp salt
  • 2 large onions
