Ingredients

  • 1 pound  fresh asparagus, thick ends cut off and cut into 1" pieces
  • 3/4 cup  onion, chopped
  • 2 cups  chicken stock, divided (can substitute vegetable stock)
  • 2 tablespoons  butter
  • 2 tablespoons  all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon  salt
  • 1 pinch  ground black pepper
  • 1 cup  milk
  • 1/2 cup  lemon yogurt
  • 1/8 cup  sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon  lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup  grated Parmesan cheese
