  • 1/2 teaspoon  baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon  salt
  • 2   large eggs
  • 1/2 cup  packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup  nonfat buttermilk, (see Tip)

  • 1 teaspoon  vanilla extract
