  • 2-1/2 cups  all-purpose flour

  • 3/4 teaspoon  salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon  baking soda
  • 1/2 cup  milk
  • 1/4 cup  butter, melted, slightly cooled
  • 1   egg
  • 1/2 cup  walnuts, chopped
