  • 8 ounces  dried penne or cut ziti pasta
  • 5 to 10 cloves  garlic, cut into thin slices
  • 1 tablespoon  olive oil
  • 1 14-1/2-ounce can  tomato wedges, drained and cut in half
  •   Ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup  snipped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons  capers, drained
  • 1/3 cup  shredded Parmesan cheese
