  • 2   beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup  milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon  almond extract
  • 1/2 cup  ground almonds
  • 3 tablespoons  brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons  granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon  ground cardamom or allspice
  • 2 tablespoons  butter, melted
  •   Milk (optional)
  •   Coarse sugar (optional)
