- 2 cups sliced fresh assorted mushrooms
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic (6 cloves)
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1-1/2 cups whipping cream
- 2 oz. Taleggio or Brie cheese, rind removed if necessary, cut up
- 1 tsp. snipped fresh oregano
- Panko-Breaded Fried Eggs (recipe follows)
