Smoked Lemon Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 cups  mesquite wood chips
  •   Green Mayonnaise:
  • 1 cup  reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons  fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup  chopped fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoons  snipped fresh chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon  salt
  •   Salmon:
  • 1 tablespoon  grated lemon rind
  • 1 tablespoon  chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon  salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon  black pepper
  • 2 pounds  salmon fillet(about 1-1/4 inches thick), with skin left on and bones removed
  • 1 tablespoon  vegetable oil
