Baked Brie With Fruit

Ingredients

  • 1 8-ounce round  Brie cheese with rind (about 4 inches in diameter)
  • 3 tablespoons  orange marmalade
  • 1/4 cup  sliced almonds, coarsely chopped hazelnuts (filberts) or pecans, toasted
  • 1 medium  yellow apple or ripe pear, cored and sliced into thin wedges* or 1/2 cup sliced strawberries and 1 kiwifruit, peeled and sliced lengthwise into wedges
  •   French bread slices, assorted crackers and/or melba toasts, optional
