Almond Brie


  • 8 ounces  round Brie cheese with rind (about 4 inches in diameter)
  • 3 Tbsp.  orange marmalade
  • 1/4 cup  sliced almonds, coarsely chopped hazelnuts (filberts) or pecans, toasted
  • 1 medium  yellow apple or ripe pear, cored and sliced into thin wedges, or 1/2 cup sliced strawberries and 1 kiwifruit,peeled and sliced lengthwise into wedges
  •   French bread slices, assorted crackers and/or melba toast (optional)
