- Extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), for drizzling, plus about 2 tablespoons
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1-1 1/2 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 pound rigatoni
- Grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
